It happens often on our PrayerWorks Prayer list. As we were praying for someone at Church yesterday who had that request, God gave me an idea about the Father and the Prodigal son.
While it’s not actually mentioned in the scriptures, I believe the Father was praying everyday for God to bring his son home. I believe the Father was not only praying but looking to that hill expecting his son to come walking home at any moment. The father was trusting God with a “Great Expectation.”
In your life, whatever you might face, ask God every day, believe with a “Great Expectation” that He will deliver and expect to receive from God.
“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” ~ Mark 11:24 NKJ
