Strength Is, Crazy Things at Weddings

Encouraging Words for the Day: Strength is when you have so much to cry for but, you prefer to smile instead!

15 Crazy Things Happen at Weddings!

Pastors and other church staff have a plethora of stories to tell about weddings they have officiated. Unfortunately, they are often constrained from telling the stories lest their church members become offended.

For that reason, I gather the stories from the pastors on social media and become their spokesperson. For the most part, these stories are repeated only with minor changes. The essence of the stories is unchanged.

There were so many great submissions. Click more to see the list!

God’s Rosebud ~ Author unknown

rosebudA new minister was walking with an older, more seasoned minister in the garden one day.

Feeling a bit insecure about what God had for him to do, he was asking the older preacher for some advice.

Mission NAC 2016 June 8—11

“Mission NAC” is a multi-church outreach ministry that seeks to help the needy in our community. As the body of Christ in Nacogdoches, we have scraped and painted, roofed, built porches and carports, replaced windows and trim, delivered furniture, mowed, gardened and landscaped for those who simply needed a hand up.

Last year alone over 250 people representing 5 churches joined together to work for four days in our community. Lives were changed as the love of Christ was spoken and demonstrated – and so were over 12 homes!

Imagine what 500 of us could do… or 2000 – every year!

“To make Him knownby serving His people and the lost in our city.Giving a hand up to those in need.”As the whole body of Christ, how do we reach our city with the love of Christ? Together – and one family at a time.

  • Each one should use whatever gift he has received to others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. — 1 Peter 4:10
  • But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded. — 2 Chronicles 15:7
  • Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer, contribute to the needs of the saints, practice hospitality. — Romans 12:12-1
  • As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. — Proverbs 27:17
  • And over all those virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. — Colossians 3:14
