I read this and it really ministered to me. The person that wrote is suggested after reading, receiving the message to pass it on. Would you do the same?
Some people say fear is the absence of faith, but I think fear IS a form of faith. It’s faith in the WHAT IF’s of life. It’s faith in the wrong things.
As I was reading through the Christmas story with my kids, I noticed each time an angel appeared to Joseph or Mary or Zachariah… the first thing the angel always said was FEAR NOT… and that’s the point where God made a drastic shift in that person’s life.
As we start a new year and we look at the cost of things, and changes at our office and the way our kids have been acting… it’s easy to take our eyes off God and put them on our circumstances.
Paul Points to this answer: “We don’t live in a spirit of fear but of love and power and a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7
“And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains.” Colossians 4:3 (NIV)
