Leave the Comfort Zone

Sometimes life has a way of pushing us into directions we weren’t planning to go. We’re all so busy moving forward sometimes we lookup and we’ve marched into an unexpected place, like helping a neighbor rescue a stray cat from a tree yet, you’re afraid of heights. Other days we may be asked to march into someone’s situation when they’ve lost a loved one.

Everyday, life’s tug-a-wars offers us “moments to march” into places of we would normally never go. Injustice, someone’s pain or a simple feline rescue, are God’s way of offering us opportunity help others heal monsterous messes.

We must march toward people not away from them. We must march toward people and their needs. When we march into relationships and situations where love and restoration are needed, heaven begins to shrink the distance between despair and a richer life.
