Stephen Jansen, New Love INC., Exec. Director

Stephen Jansen New Exec, Director Love INC

Love In the Name of Christ Angelina County (Love INC) is pleased to announce the selection of Stephen Jansen as executive director. Mr. Jansen replaces Jerry Spann who resigned March 31 to accept a local church pastorate.

Mr. Jansen has a B.A. in History from Dallas Baptist University and a master of divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. A Lufkin native, he taught social studies at Hudson High School 2005-2011, prior to a call to ministry and attending the Seminary. Most recently, he was employed at Harvest Church and Harvest Christian Academy in Ft. Worth and gained experience in administration of adult and youth ministries as well as teaching. His resume includes several national and international mission trips as well as work and volunteer experience ministering to the homeless, youth, and young adults. Mr. Jansen and his wife Natalie live in Lufkin, have two sons, and attend Harmony Hill Baptist Church.

Mr. Jansen says “that ministry is an outflow of the Great Commandment to love God and your neighbor as yourself, in obedience to the Great Commission to go and make disciples. Ministry, therefore, should happen out of an overflow of my love for God. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the communities of Angelina County through the Love INC ministry of mobilizing local Christian churches to transform lives and communities.”

Love INC of Angelina County is an affiliate of the National Love INC network.
