Overwhelmed? Feeling Like You’re Failing?

In this blog are two thoughts… one from Heath.com and one from our morning team!

How to Cope When You Feel Like You’re Failing at Work and Home – By Gail Saltz, MD / from Health.com

  1. The word “perfect” tells me you’re holding yourself to unrealistic standards…
  2. Ask yourself, “Did the things your choosing from matter in the long run?
  3. Does your current job allow enough flexibility?
  4. Who else can you get to help with your chore or business project?

From the Good Friends Morning Crew… Jeremiah 29…

If you’re feeling alone and overwhelmed, you are not alone. When you’re questioning your abilities, be “Encouraged” God has a plan for you just like He did with the Israelite’s in Babylon.

God says, “I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

Sandy Patty coined these words in her song “Masterpiece.” It’ll encourage you and who you are!

You are a masterpiece… A new creation He has formed
And you’re as soft and fresh as a snowy winter morn.
And I’m so glad that God has given you to me
Little Lamb of God, you are a masterpiece.
And now you’re growing up your life’s a miracle
Every-time I look at you I stand in awe
Because I see in you a reflection of me
And you’ll always be my little lamb from God
