Which teacher changed your life?
Elizabeth Moore says, She fell in love with storytelling because of her fourth-grade teacher, Barbara Belt. The Maryland resident shared a tribute to her for Teacher Appreciation Week. Moore is a marine conservationist for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Her story first appeared on CNN iReport.
Al Ross says, “I love being on the radio because of my Speach/Drama teacher Mrs. Florence Crosby, My Ag teacher J.E. Seamans, and Dr. Robert Eubanks, SHSU. I remember “Dr Bob”, as we called him, taught us to ‘Get Radio/TV station experience as quickly as possible’.”
Kevin says, “I continue to learn from my favorite teacher. Most students didn’t encounter him until 8th grade American History class, but I was learning from him long before that time. Not only did I learn so much about history from him in the 8th grade, but I learned EVERYTHING else that has made me who I am today. Thanks Dad!”
