Adelyn’s open heart surgery
My granddaughter, Adelyn who had open heart surgery on August 31st is home and doing well. She spent 10 days in the hospital and did not have any complications from the surgery. I want to thank everyone for your prayers and support throughout this time. They were felt and answered! Praise God!

Your station brings me comfort through these stressful times!

This station Gives Me Hope for the Future.
Its great to hear words of encouragement and praise through out the day. No matter what’s going on in my life, when I turn on 90.9 KSWP all my worries and doubt fade away. Thank you all for being you and serving our Lord and savior. God bless!

I also enjoy tuning into 91.9 and listening to Janet Parshall on my way home. Every night Monday-Friday at 9pm, I stop what I am doing and listen to Dr. David Jeremiah. I love his sermons/teaching.

Volunteering Lessens Depression & Extends Life

A warm glow and sense of connection aren’t all you get from volunteering: It can improve your mental health and help you live longer too. A leading researcher explains why.

Most of us know that if we eat our fruit and veggies, exercise often, and avoid smoking, we have a better chance of living longer and healthier lives. But your doctor may not have told you there’s a link between volunteering and health. Published recently in BMC Public Health, the paper finds that volunteering is associated with lower depression, increased well-being, and a 22 percent reduction in the risk of dying.

But there’s more… Go Here for the Story.
