Be a Hero. If you’re sick, STAY HOME!
Experts say, “It may surprise you, but people will go to work sick. Where they will spread colds, flu and more. It seems new research shows. No one will even try to convince you to stay or go home because they knew in that situation they’d be doing the same thing.”
New research shows the pressure to go to work spreads most illnesses this time of year. Example; Ms. Franks, (not her real name) worked from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. the day before Thanksgiving. Then on Thanksgiving Day, she slept most of the day. The next day, Black Friday, she went back to work, just as sick as she was on Wednesday.
Experts and Doctors say, “Workers with the flu or a cold should use sick days far more often than they do.” Though millions of Americans don’t get paid time off when they’re sick, those who do have the option however more often than not most people don’t take time of. Thus spreading the the flu, colds and other diseases.
Doctors say, as a general rule, stay home until you are fever-free for 24 hours. Health Experts say, “People can be infectious even before they start to have symptoms, but most of the time that they’re going to be most infectious is going to be when they are sickest, especially if they’re having fevers,” the doctors at the Houston Health Clinic said.
