56% of Americans Give Their Cars Names By Good News Network
Does your car have a name?
Do you talk to it regularly or even feel guilty driving another vehicle?
If so, you are not alone.
Americans see their cars as so much more than just a vehicle. A New Poll Finds 60 percent of drivers consider their cars to be full-fledged members of the family—nearly as many owners seal this bond by naming their four-wheeled friends.
I can vouch for considering my vehicles part of my family. I’m a diehard car guy that has been around hotrod and classic cars my whole life and the ones i have currently are a huge part of my family. I’m from Lufkin Tx and have been all over Texas going to car shows.
I’ve got a 1961 Bel Air that we call Ebony and a 1991 GMC Jimmy that my wife has named Jimmy. We put as much love and attention into our vehicles and we do our family.
My father in law does too!
