A Kind Word, Powerful

OneKindWordCanChangeSomeonesEntireDay

One kind word can change someones entire day!

noactofkindness_iseverwastedNo Act of Kindness is Ever Wasted: Jeremiah went to Walmart, and needed a little assistance with the self check-out option, the lady was very friendly, helpful, and sorted out the trouble with a smile. As he was leaving, He said, “You are the first person that has ever treated me with kindness & dignity, without being rude or condescending. Thank you for being a happy smiling face.” her reply, “You are the first person to ever say anything. I try to be nice to all my customers…”

We complain about rude people in customer service jobs, but maybe we can all be nicer to them first, and be actively kind & complimentary, affirming the type of manners & courtesy we’d like to see more of when it happens, instead of just grousing all the time about the bad experiences we’ve had. I’m trying to get better at this myself.
