National Day of Prayer is an annual day of observance held on the first Thursday of May, designated by the United States Congress, when people are asked “to turn to God in prayer and meditation.”

LUFKIN:
12pm-1pm at the Lufkin Civic Center, 601 N. 2nd St. . Hosted by 1st United Methodists Church

NACOGDOCHES:
12pm-1pm at the International Church of Nacogdoches, 1610 SW Stallings Dr.

TYLER:
7am-8am 28th Annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast at the Harvey Convention Center, 2000 W. Front St. Tyler TX 75702. Free admission and no ticket required.

POLLOK:
7:00 pm at the Old Redtown School and Community Center on FM 1819.

WELLS:
6:00 pm at the “Wells City Park” *Pray for America* – Love one another, just as I have loved you. John 13:34

HEMPHILL:
12pm – 1pm Sabine County Courthouse lawn. 12:00pm – 1:00pm – 201 Main Street Hemphill TX 75948. Bring your lawn chairs.

TROUP:
6am-7am Troup Community Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast, 935 Highway 135 S Troup TX 75789
