Caddo Mounds State Historic Site impacted by severe weather. The State Site is closed until repairs are made. On April 13 the couple was helping get festival goers to safety as a tornado approached the mounds.

“Where he was, the building collapsed. He broke and fractured his neck vertebrae and there is spinal damage,” shared Rachel.

The Assistant manager of Caddo Mounds, Rachel Galan says her husband, Victor Galan, was injured by a tornado that swept through the Historic Site.

Rachel was at husband’s side in hospital at the time KTRE wrote the story.
