This year’s Lufkin fireworks show has sizzled out.

The City of Lufkin made a tough decision and cancelled the annual July 4th fireworks show and festival. This is out of concern of Covid-19 and large crowds and the fact city leaders are unsure when Governor Abbott will allow cities and towns to host large festivals.
