Ruth Wakefield of Massachusetts is the inventor of the Toll House Cookie, that is, the chocolate chip cookie. She started making them in the 1930’s while trying to think up new recipes. The Toll House cookie is supposedly a variation on a cookie popular in the 30’s, the Butter Drop Pecan Icebox Cookie.

Now the real question… do you like chocolate chip cookies with or without nuts?

Give your response by using ShoutOut on the KSWP App or call 800-944-8443.
