Til Calamaties are Over

Til Calamaties are Over

You are my hiding place and my shield; I wait for Your word.
Psalm 119:114

I hope in Your word. I trust everything You say. You are my secret place against danger. Lord God, You are my hope, my word, my final Word. The perfections of God has perfected areas, chambers of retreat and safety. I may hide there and be safe, till calamities are over. (Ref. – Isaiah 26:20)

Truth Never Changes – Dangerous Heat Coming

Truth never changes. Taste, culture and style don’t affect truth ever. When you start to complain or call someone else out, first think about where God’s truth is in this discussion. It’s a great re-set every time.

Pokémon Go make People Crazy

imageYou may have heard stories of people hunting down Pokémon on their office desks, in hospital rooms, and even in bathrooms.

The new smartphone app featuring the 1990s fictional creatures is posing a not-so-fictional problem for police and users.

Police Spokesman say, “We had a couple of incidents over the weekend with kids playing Pokemon GO, incidents where people had minor injuries from falling or tripping.

The app uses the smartphone’s camera to engage users in “augmented reality,” meaning an animated layer of Pokemon appears on the screen with the actual, physical world as backdrop. The program also uses GPS to inform users of where Pokemon are — and sometimes, they’re in locations off-limits to the general public.

However, while the new game is bringing fun and excitement, it’s also bringing a hidden danger.

“It’s very easy to be staring at your phone and walk into an intersection and if a car doesn’t see you, you’re going to get hit,” Dibble said.

If you’re playing Pokeman, why?

Problems Opportunities, God Recycles, Better Shoppers?, Why Dad’s Recording Voice,

Power Thoughts:

  1. Problems are only opportunities in work clothes.
  2. The heroic know their purpose in life is not to satisfy their own desires, but to minister healing, love and hope to the less fortunate.
  3. Anger is only one letter short of danger.

Have you ever thought that God is a recycler? He is! He never wastes anything. Talk to Him and he’ll use everything in your life to his glory.

“God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God.” ~ Romans 8:28 NLT

Dad Recording Voice For Children: A British Man who will soon lose his voice is recording words so he can still read to his children. Laurence Brewer said his inspiration for the project was his 13-month-old son.

He said, “He is the key motivation for me to record my voice so that if my voice is lost, he can still hear what his dad sounds like. I might be able to read him bedtime stories; your voice is part of your identity. He can maybe also hear what I sound like when I am no longer here.” (FOX NEWS)

Hope, Update On Prayers, Local Job Fair, Chuck E. Cheese recall,

Power Thoughts
“Success is not the result of spontaneous combustion. You must set yourself on fire.” Fred Shero

Hope: Do you ever feel alone, Like no one knows you are there, or Like you don’t have the help you need for what your are facing?

Well, You are not alone and you are not going unnoticed. You have a place to go that offers shelter, protection, comfort, resources and assurance. You have the ultimate safe place. From a loving, caring, God – Who knows every detail of your life. You do have to do something though. I’ve found that you have to be willing to stop trying to control the situations and circumstances around you, and you have turn to Him when everything around you seems unsteady. Remember what the ministry says often, God Hears and He answers.
“O God, listen to my cry! Hear my prayer! From the ends of the earth, I cry to you for help when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the towering rock of safety, for you are my safe refuge, a fortress where my enemies cannot reach me. Let me live forever in your sanctuary, safe beneath the shelter of your wings!” ~ Psalm 61:1-4

Praying for Bowen Matthew… His father is the lead singer for Sanctus Real – Meet his mom Sarah, his two sisters in this beautiful story

Yesterday morning’s update: The doctors told us this morning that they believe Bowen is strong enough to start weaning him off life support today. They don’t know for certain that it’ll work until they try, but the worst case scenario (for today) is that he’ll have to stay on it for a while longer. All of the doctors seem very optimistic about his condition in light of what he’s been through. They’re going to start the process at 10am this morning, and we should know how it’s going by this evening.

Unemployed? Employees, job-seekers to meet at job fair Today from 10a-2pat the Pitzer Garrison Civic Center in Lufkin, TX! More than 20 employers will be available Thursday at “Job Fair 2010” to offer local job-seekers information on employment opportunities. There are employment opportunities in retail, the medical field, and manufacturing. Sandra Hopson, business services specialist at WorkForce Solutions, said many of the organizations have several openings.

Sandra Hopkins went on to say, “The fair is a good way for people to meet different employers, and it’s a good way for employers to find people who match their openings,” Hopson said.  There are many different variables.” Anyone who plans on showing up for the job fair should have copies of their resume to give to prospective employers. They should also dress appropriately and be prepared to ask questions to potential employers. Rather than become frustrated at the amount of competition or lack of success during a job fair, Hopson encouraged job seekers to attend one of WorkForce Solutions’ workshops to brush up on their skills. Hopkins said, “It’s all about keeping a positive attitude and projecting that to the employer.” ~ (Lufkin Daily)

Chuck E. Cheese recall: More than 1.2 million Chuck E. Cheese light-up rings and toy eyeglasses were recalled Wednesday over concerns that children might swallow the small battery inside the toys. The 1.1 million light-up rings were part of a promotional offering between April 2009 and June of this year or were offered during parent-teacher association conventions. They came in blue, green, purple, yellow and pink. The 120,000 toy glasses, shaped like stars, were part of birthday packages. http://bit.ly/caSznm
