I would imagine each and every one of us has a soul that could use a little more rest. Consider the things you take responsibility for, and if you think your impact on them is just as vital as God’s. Chances are, they are not even close. There are a few weighty things you can turn over to Him. After all He’s God and you are … not. Whether you’re trying to be or not, rest in knowing that His yoke has your best interest at heart, and He doesn’t intend for you to carry unnecessary burdens. God will carry the load for you! Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Matthew 11:29

“What you do and what you accomplish is only the tip of the Iceburg of what’s possible for you!” ~ Les Brown

Jesus life brings victory in your life. His victory placed life in you — the life of Christ is in you! Jesus overcame sickness, poverty, failures, pains and curses. He went to the cross and when Christ sprang to life, He put an end to everything keeping us from Father God. He put life in you.
When Jesus rose from the dead, He gave you life through the power of resurrection. And He put that life in you! And because Jesus went back to His Father, The Holy Spirit came to indwell you (John 16:7), so that you will live life with His anointing in you and walk in His overwhelming power and life in you.
All that Jesus is, God meant for you to be. All that He has, God meant for you to have.

A hero bus driver! How about this: In Washington, a Metro bus driver saw a bunch of feral teen girls surround a visually impaired woman, and as one snatched the woman’s purse and ran, the driver flew into action, chasing down the girls and retrieving the purse. I kept expecting to read that the driver was fired for interfering, but apparently not. That’s a little victory for the good side. (Washington Post)

PrayerWorks: Thank you for your prayers. A couple months ago I shared that I was concerned about my husband and possible early Alzheimer’s. Your prayers for me and us have helped. I have peace now! Thank you. The Lord is so good to us! I have more peace and I was able to fine resources on the Alzheimer’s website. I even got a very long explanation from a social worker who answers people’s questions on this disease. I know the Lord will guide me through this and I feel more at ease. Thanks so much and God Bless you all! Cathy
PluggedIn Movie Review: “Risen”
“I’m yet sticky with filth.” – So the Roman tribune Clavius tells a messenger when he’s summoned to appear before Pontius Pilate, the Roman governor of Judea. No matter, the man says. Pilate summons you. And when a man with the power Pilate wields summons you, obedience is the only option. Continue reading
