If Plan “A” didn’t work, the Alphabet has 25 more letters! Stay Cool.
And if you get to “Z” and it still doesnt work, excel sheets continue with aa…ab… in Excel! 🙂
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. – Jeremiah 29:11
The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps. – Proverbs 16:9
Do you trust God with your money? I remember the first time I ask myself that question. I didn’t like the answer. You may feel the same way.
So how do you change your attitude towards giving? Well consider adding fractions. Just bear with me.
You may find that you give HALF hearted or maybe with THREE QUARTERS good intentions. Inside, you know that giving must be WHOLE hearted.
You know that God wants you “all in” when it comes to trusting Him when it comes to giving. In 2nd Corinthians 8:7 says that you and I should “Excel in the Grace of Giving.”
Wow, “excel” is not a half-hearted word. If you take “excel” and describe a workout, you’d be talking about getting your heart to it’s full aerobic rate. You would be panting for air. You couldn’t carry on a conversation. God wants you to have that “All In” kind of trust in your giving to Him.
Another word to notice in the scripture above, “Grace” in giving. I love this word and hope you do as well. Grace means “unmeritted favor.” Nothing you can do to earn it. You have it because of what Jesus did for you!
AND it also means “the divine influence upon your heart, and its reflections in your life.” You’ll love this expression of God’s love for you. Think about this, “there’s nothing you can do to get this.” It’s completely given freely. “Unmerited divine assistance given for you and to you.”
So if you are feeling a little nervous about giving a gift to KSWP or KAVX, you can be assured that it’s a natural feeling,
But God will help you excel through the exercising your faith in God’s efforts on your behalf.
