Unless there is a Good Friday in your life, there can be no Easter in your Sunday! ~ Fulton J Sheen
God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)
In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety. (Psalms 4:8)
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “ He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” (PSALM 91:1-2)
Just by being you are a child of God. Just by being!
Being. It’s Not about Doing.
Today, Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father’s throne (Hebrews 8:1). And the Bible says that as Christ is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). This means that we are also seated at the Father’s right hand.
Now, being seated is a picture of rest. In the Old Testament, the priests never sat down. There were no chairs in the tabernacle of Moses or in the temple of God because their work was never finished. But Jesus sat down because His work is finished (John 19:30, Hebrews 10:11–13.) And God said to me, “Son, tell My people to have a throne attitude.” So what does it mean to have a “throne attitude?”
This almost sounds to simple.
To simple at bedtime to pray, “Lord Jesus, as You are free from disease and sickness and never to be sick again, so am I in this world. Amen.”
And then go to bed.
Resting the idea you are healed. This sounds to simple. How could this be?
What your hearing is The Lord loving you! Rest in this idea. Don’t work at it.
The devil may and come and tell you, “hey that problems not resolved. You’ve got to do something about it.” But you say, “I’m gonna rest. I’m a child of God. Leave me alone, go away.” He’ll leave you alone.”
However, if every time satan bothers you, you go and play in the devils bush fires then you going to get burned and you are encouraging him.
But, If the devil cannot agitate you then he’ll leave you alone. He’ll go agitate someone else.
And you can go back to the state of “Rest.”
