Dear Mayor Brown & the residents of Lufkin,
It is with great joy, pride and gratitude I write this letter to you, your staff and the residents of Lufkin. Our hope is that you will share this with the kind, caring folks of your great city.
On Sept. 18, 2016, several residents of Lufkin had a profound impact on the lives of 17 soldiers headed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Resolute Support. On that day God’s love, compassion and care was never more evident than through the caring and giving people of your city.
