You are a Good Friend! You are hard to find, harder to leave and impossible to forget.
Few things have such a huge impact on happiness and the enjoyment, depth and plain fun of life as the friendships we have.
It could be the friendships with you, our partners, family members, co-workers and the people we have known for a few years now or since we were kids or it could be the pets we love.
True Friends are the Ones who lift you up when no one else has noticed you’ve fallen. Unknown
A True Friend is someone who is there for you when they’d rather be any where else. – Len Wein
If You have one true friend you have more than your share. – Thomas Fuller
1 I will lift up my eyes to the hills — From whence comes my help?
2 My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.
3 He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber.
4 Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand.
6 The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.
8 The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore.
An Exercise For You: Begin by standing on a comfortable surface, where you have plenty of room at each side.
With a 5-lb potato bag in each hand, extend your arms straight out from your sides and hold the there as long as you can. Try to reach a full minute, and then relax.
Each day you’ll find that you can hold this position for just a bit longer.
After a couple of weeks, move up to 10-lb potato bags. Then try 50-lb potato bags and eventually try to get to where you can lift a 100-lb potato bag in each hand and hold your arms straight for more than a few minutes. (I’m at this level)
After you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each bag.
True Friends are those who lift you up when
your heart’s wings forget how to fly.
