PrayerWorks: Thank you for your prayers. A couple months ago I shared that I was concerned about my husband and possible early Alzheimer’s. Your prayers for me and us have helped. I have peace now! Thank you. The Lord is so good to us! I have more peace and I was able to fine resources on the Alzheimer’s website. I even got a very long explanation from a social worker who answers people’s questions on this disease. I know the Lord will guide me through this and I feel more at ease. If you were to thank God for something today, what would it be? For me, it would be thanking God for giving me Jesus. my family and you. For when I see Jesus on the cross, I see the love of God overcoming everything for me.
I find as each of us worship and celebrate the love of Jesus in our lives, we will find ourselves changed! It reminds me of the life of David. His personal times with God, helped him see God’s love for him, It changed him from a mere shepherd boy to a lion killer, bear killer, giant killer and finally, a king over Israel. God will do that for you today!
I believe you can truly enjoy living in this world with God’s strength in your life, when you focus on time with God! When you invest time, you find God’s favor in every area of your life! In your work, relationships, health, finances, you will find God’s protection, increase, health and healing for youself. Man or woman can survive emotionally, socially or physically with God’s tender touch, loving presence, sweet assurance and words of life in times of need.

PrayerWorks: On the job problem resolved.
I had asked for prayer a week or so ago for some problems I was having at work that were out of my control. I asked everyone to pray for God to give me peace and strength. In the midst of all of it I had great peace! I just wanted to thank everyone for their prayers! our God is great!!!

PrayerWorks: Sticky Note Found! I work at a doctors office and we received a KSWP sticky note in a home health order folder. It was very sweet and reminded us of Gods love.

Compassion International and First Baptist Rusk, Tx. will bring visitors on a journey into the lives of two sponsored
children living in Guatemala and Uganda.
This is a self guided tour, with the use of an iPod, a headset and 1,700 square feet of interactive space, visitors will see the children’s homes, walk through school and markets, and hear life-changing stories of hope – all from the perspective of a child whose life began in poverty.
This FREE event is appropriate for all ages and is an excellent opportunity fro anyone who has never had the chance to travel outside the U.S. to get a small glimpse of what life can be like in developing countries. (With Out Leaving East Texas.)
