Accept What God Has To Offer

If times are tough, evaluate your willingness to receive. I remember a time when I was moving from working in secular radio, making a lot of money, to Christian radio. I was working at 3 jobs including part-time in Christian radio. During that 1st year, it was necessary for me to put down pride and let God work through people around me just so my family could have enough to eat and maintain the monthly bills. I encourage you to be willing and open to letting Him protect, comfort and bless you in your time of need. Sometime money will come in the mail, food will show up on the front porch, and many other ways that God will use to order your protection. Let go and accept what God has to offer you. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Psalm 23:4,5

Do What You Say – Walk The Walk To Match The Talk

integrityOne of the most damaging ways you can portray Christianity to non-believers and believers alike, is to be a hearer (and a repeater) of the Word but not be a doer of the Word. Make every effort today to let your actions speak the Gospel. Love others well. Treat yourself and others with respect. Love God. Don’t just talk about it, but do it.(thedailyverse.com)

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. James 1:22
