Closed Doors Blind You

When one door closes, another opens; But we often look so long and so regretfully upon the close door that we do not see the one that has opened for us.
– Alexander Graham Bell

God says, “I will give him the key to the house of David – the highest position in the royal court. When he opens doors, no one will be able to close them; when he closes doors, no one will be able to open them.”  – Isaiah 22:22

It’ll Change Their Life and Yours

Love People who hate you.

Pray for People who Wrong you.

It won’t just change their Life, It Will Change Yours.

But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you. ~ Matthew 5:44

I’ll Be With You

I’ll Be With You

When You Through Deep Waters, God says, I Will be with You!” ~ Isaiah 43:2

No matter what you face in the future, you will never face it alone. This is the key to courage: There is nothing to fear when you know God is near.

Some of you feel alone right now. You may feel it, but you’re not! You’re not alone. God sees what you’re going through. God cares about what you’re going through. God’s going through that situation with you, and he will help you out if you trust him. Remember, one plus God equals a majority.

“When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.” (Isaiah 43:2 NLT)

Go Ahead, Underestimate Me.

Go Ahead, Underestimate Me.

Go ahead, underestimate me. You won’t be the first… You won’t be the last… But you will be wrong. Steve Maraboli.

Rachel Wojo said this, “Keep going, keep running, keep moving, keep praying.”

Sometimes I want to give up. I’m feeling a bit like that today as I steadily try to run faster and get back in shape to run a half marathon in the spring.

If you’re honest, you occasionally feel that way too. Whether it’s a relationship, a job, a heart issue, etc., that feeling of just throwing in the towel seems like a great solution, at least temporarily.

While there are times where change is necessary, that’s not giving up. Change isn’t giving up; doing nothing is giving up.

When I need the strength to keep going, the best place to which I know to turn is God’s Word. I thought you might want to be encouraged too- through these 12 Bible verses for when you feel like giving up.

Here are a couple…

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Phil 4:13

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Eph. 6:10

Dream Big and Dare to Succeed! Good Friends Mornings

“So many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and then, when we summon the will, they soon become inevitable.” ~ Christopher Reeves

“A person who dreams big is an ordinary person. What makes them extraordinary is that they find the courage, heart, and discipline to make that dream come true. The problem is that we forget that we can do the same. Within each of us is a core of goodness, wisdom, and heart that has been there from the start.” Michelle Knight
